Professor Sanjeev Krishna – Scientific Advisor Professor of Molecular Parasitology and Medicine at St. George’s University of London.

Professor Krishna’s academic career has been focused on the development of affordable diagnostics and therapeutics for infectious disease and cancer. He is scientific adviser to multiple international bodies, including the World Health Organisation, the US National Institute of Health, the UK Wellcome Trust and the Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics (FIND), a not-for-profit organisation promoting the development of new diagnostic tools for resource-poor countries.

He is Chair of the Infectious Disease Advisory Committee of diagnostics company QuantuMDx. He is an Academic Icon at University Malaya (UM) and is collaborating with interdisciplinary teams at University Malaya on a number of projects for affordable diagnostics and therapeutics for infectious disease and cancer.

Professor Krishna has strong industrial contacts and is now Scientific Adviser to both Mologic and Initiative Asia(IA) as part of IA’s strategy for distribution and eventually manufacturing of accurate and affordable SARs-CoV-2 Rapid Test Kits and other diagnostics for infectious disease and cancer in Malaysia.
